ARCTIC’s next show in Vancouver will be on March 29 at the Railway Club (579 Dunsmuir @ Seymour). This show is a birthday bash for Ferdy Belland of The Feminists, and it will be an extravaganza of epic proportions, also featuring David Gannett, The Gentle Infidels, Portico, Bad Moves, Catlow, The Parlour Steps, Scatterheart, and The Orchid Highway. ARCTIC’s song “You Coming Down” was chosen to represent British Columbia artists on a compilation CD, which will be available at MIDEM 2008 in Cannes, France, and at various Canadian Consulates. Other artists selected for the compilation include TV Heart Attack, Immaculate Machine, and John Mann (of Spirit of the West). The CD can be found at the Canadian Consulate booth at MIDEM - if you are attending the conference, drop by the booth to pick it up.
