ARCTIC puzzle contest winners

Well, that was fun! We’re amazed by all the words that everyone sent in to our puzzle contest - not only did some people find all the words on the list, but there were lots of short randomly-generated words on the puzzle list that we hadn’t put there (including, apparently, “sex” - that one seems to have jumped out at a lot of people..)

In the end, Tara Coultish was the first to get all 20 words, and next up was Micah Beale. They were the only two to get all 20 words, so we drew our third-place winner from those who were off by only one word. So our third pendant goes to Monique Squiers. Congratulations to our three winners (we’ll be in touch with you shortly), and thanks to everyone who put in so much effort - we hope you had fun!

For those of you who want to check your answers, here’s the official list of 20 words that we put in our puzzle. Thanks for playing!

Win an Arctic pendant and find out what ARCTIC is up to this year!

Find the 20 hidden words in the puzzle to get a taste of what ARCTIC will be up to in 2012. The words are written backwards and forwards, and can be found horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. We’re giving away three inukshuk pendants, made by Ashoona Studios in Yellowknife. (You can see a picture of the pendants on our Facebook page.)

One goes to the first person to figure out all 20 words, and two more will be given away by random draw from all correct entries. We’ll announce the winners on February 13. Email your answers to arctic(at)projectarctic.com for your chance to win!
